Ways The Church Serves Nursing Home Residents

Living Waters Spiritual Enrichment Ministry seeks to bring awareness and connect the Church to local residents, or those residing in a senior care facility. The people living in nursing homes often have the greatest physical, financial, and spiritual needs, but are overlooked or even worse, abandoned by so many ...

Together, in Prayer and Sacrament we can make a difference for the residents who just do not have the ability or opportunity to leave their residence or facility to attend Mass and hear God’s Good Word.

Fr. Michael Maurice, Pastor of the Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church; brings the Church to the Residents who reside in Pinellas County FL. or in local Nursing Homes, Rehabs & Assisted Living Facilities. We Gather together and share in Prayer, The Mass of the Day or the Word of God, and receive Communion, (The Holy Eucharist), and all other Sacraments are provided as need be. Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church is devoted 100 % with a friendly smile and a kind word to bringing our companionship and the light of Christ to everyone!

The Ministry Team

The Church ministry team consists of Fr. Michael personally and / or one or two other assisting clergy, working together to do God’s work. This is a very unique and needed Church service offered by Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church Inc.  

Prayer

Prayer is an incredible privilege God gives all of us; for he promises to hear and meet our requests for doing His work; therefore, we are committed to being a prayer partner, faithfully asking the Lord to meet the needs of Pinellas County Residents, Family members, Care facilities, and The Sacred Heart HCC's Spiritual Enrichment Mission. This Ministry is a True Blessing, being offered to all county Residents and Facilities at No Cost.  

Donations 

Living Waters Spiritual Enrichment Ministry… Is a Non-Profit Ministry of Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church Inc. Therefore, there is No Charge for doing God’s work. “Donations Are Graciously Welcomed” for they are blessings which will continue to support this Church, and the Church's Ministries. especially these  much-needed services for our aging Pinellas County FL. residents & community.

 What Living Waters Ministry Provides.

·Sharing the love and Word of God in ways that help and bring comfort to residents and those in care homes grow closer to Jesus Christ. 

· Providing books uniquely for the aging community, with large print and answers from God’s Word bringing hope, inclusion and a renewed sense of one's salvation in God.

· Supports many specific efforts to let residents know “JESUS LOVES THEM” and that they have  value even when it seems like the world has forgotten them.

To share the love and word of God in senior care homes and Nursing Home facilities, helping residents take Jesus’ hand to find hope and peace, and their salvation in Him.

An Ecumenical Catholic Priest is always available for you, your family members, or a Nursing home facility regarding religious needs, questions and desires. 

Weekly Mass / 7 - Sacraments;  (Call and make arragements for all in-house services).
