Christmas Day Mass. Wednesday Dec. 25th, 10:30 AM.
The Mission and purpose of the Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church
Greetings, Jesus gave us an emphatic command “to love one another as I have loved you,” and it is on this commandment and on our love for our Lord, that our Church is built. We seek to serve the world, serve one another, and to work together with our beloved brothers and sisters on their journey to eternity with Jesus.
We invite all of God’s children to join the Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church (SHHCC).
Our focus is and always has been to lead people to love God, love others, and serve the world.
In loving as our Lord Jesus, we too can help bring souls to salvation.
As further elaborated: To that end we simply want to live by FAITH, and make disciples” (Matthew 29:19), disciples who would be mature in Christ (Eph. 4:13). We should imitate Christ, and be known by Loving Others. We are not just any old community, We are a family; We are All God's Children! By sharing our talents, in harmony with others, well-then, we are serving both the church and the world. The Christ is the embodiment of the church. It belongs to Him and no one else. The Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church is composed of loving souls in loving devotion to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Living and worshiping together with the common purpose of loving and comforting each other while nurturing the growth of all souls by fostering the love of God, and by being a light of Hope for our fellow humankind and to serve the world.
We Are a Community
Parish Members of the Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church are welcomed, and encouraged to serve and actively participate in various Church roles and ministries.
We Are Catholic
We worship and celebrate our Catholic Heritage, and our Christian identity through the seven Sacraments: Baptism, Holy- Eucharist (Holy Communion) celebrated at Mass, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Healing of the Sick. Like so many other independent Catholic brothers and sisters, we are Catholic. Our roots reach way back to the first one thousand years years of the Christian Church. Bishops and priests lead the Mass, and our bishops, priests and deacons are All ordained through apostolic succession.
We Are Inclusive
We believe that the seven Sacraments are special occasions for all individuals to experience God's saving presence, grace and love. We also believe that the Holy Sacraments are vessels for receiving God's healing and peace. Here, at Sacred Heart, and as an independent community within The Holy Catholic Church (HCC), Each person is an individual, and is believed to be a sacred and unique expression of God the Creator. Our Lord, Jesus Christ did not turn anyone away who sought after His counsel or healing. Therefore, We make all Sacraments available to everyone who seek them reverently, regardless of your age, ethnicity, gender, marital status, nationality, race, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or any other man-made exclusion...
"ALL ARE WELCOME"
NO EXCEPTIONS!
Every person is not only invited but are also encouraged to receive The Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) at the Lord's Table.
Holy Orders,
including also, the incardination of clergy who have left the Roman, or other independent Christian Churches. Our clergy are ordained within apostolic succession. We celebrate the seven sacraments of the Catholic tradition. We ordain men and women 21 years of age or older. We accept men and women who wish to enter into religious vows. We do not discriminate based on marital status or sexual orientation. Our clergy and religious live on their own or in small groups. If you are being turned down or are being discouraged by other denominations, this does not automatically exclude you from ministry within the HCC. Remember: "The stone which the builder rejected will be our cornerstone.”
The Sacrament of Marriage (Holy Matrimony)
Will be performed for all loving couples., including LGBTQ.. divorced etc... Pre Cana-Workshop is encouraged for all couples preparing for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
We Are Ecumenical
The Holy Catholic Church (HCC) is a weaving together of a variety of other independent Catholic churches. We participate in the same apostolic heritage as other catholic branches of Christianity and see a fuller unity with other Catholic denominations who share a common theology and Old Catholic form of governance. Communities within the HCC express their "Catholic" traditions in a variety of ways while professing their faith in Christ and His Church.
We Are A light of Hope;
for anyone who believes they have lost their faith as a result of some prior religious or church experience. And for those who do believe, but would rather experience their faith through community, where all true disciples are drawn together by the Living Holy Spirit.
The Holy Catholic Church (HCC) Apostolic Succession:
The Presiding Bishop and Diocesan Bishops of the Holy Catholic Church have apostolic succession through Western Succession – According to the Latin (Roman) Rite, as well as Eastern Succession - According to the (Greek Orthodox) Rite.
What is Apostolic Succession and why does the Holy Catholic Church attach importance to it?
Definition - the authority of the church handed down by the apostles. It is passed on through sacramental admission (laying on of hands by the Bishop) into the ecclesiastical office (ordination).
Why is it important?
We as Catholics believe that the tradition of laying on of hands is essential for ordained service within our denomination. We do not however, hold it as a yardstick of validity or legitimacy against others who are called to ministry in other denominations. We have much to learn from our spiritual counterparts in other denominations. The work of the Lord needs all those with a Christian spirit working together for the fulfillment of God's reign on earth.
